Christian Home School Curriculum

Hi, my name is Kevin Conover. I’ve been teaching kids Christian Bible apologetics(defense of the Christian worldview) professionally for more than 17 years now. I have a Masters Degree in Apologetics from Biola University and I am the Bible department head at Christian High School under the leadership of Pastor David Jeremiah in Southern California (yes, there are Christians in California still). My wife and I have been married now for 24 years and we have three kids, Graham 17, Savannah 14, and Emma 12.

My job is to help parents to raise kids that love God with all their heart and love their neighbor as themselves. Not an easy task in a culture pulling our attention and our kids attention in every direction but towards the Bible.

Over my years of teaching I’ve been able to glean a lot about what parenting habits steer Christian kids in the right direction and I would love to help you navigate the Christian parenting path. I’ll be sharing some of my own insights as well as the insights of people like Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. James Dobson, John MacArthur, Josh McDowell, Tedd Tripp, Gary Chapman, Henry Cloud, John Townsend, Tony Dungy, George Barna and other experts whose parenting practices are grounded in scripture and experience.

We can all use regular reminders and encouragement to help us keep going through those tough days when we find toys in the garbage disposal, our kids making poor relationship decisions, spending too much time on screens, or any one of the other numerous frustrations that go hand in hand with raising kids.

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
